Commissioned by Singapore Tourism Board's Passion Made Possible

This collaboration is a special one for us. Other than commemorating the relationship between Malaysia and Singapore, this mural combines both our respective backgrounds in urban art. Paying tribute to our cultural heritage and translating it to modern visual language, we combined Malaysia's heritage and batik patterns with tiles that tell the modern Singapore story. We met only 3 days ago (and with our fair share of Instagram stalking) we familiarized ourselves with each other's styles and put this together organically on the day. It's a first time for both of us and I'm honoured to have learnt a lot from watching Akid paint. Thank you brother, till we meet again ✌️

The graphics below were specially illustrated to form tiles that connect to each other, and each tile tells a unique story about Singaporean culture.
